Dr. Taher Received the Bachelor degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Al-Nahrain University, Iraq, in 2000. He received the M.Sc degree in Satellite Engineering from Al-Nahrain University, Iraq, in 2002, and the PhD degree in 2015. He worked with Motorola as a communications Engineer (2005-2009) during this period he became the team leader in the BSS department. In 2013 he becomes IEEE senior member, and he is member of some IEEE societies; Communications society, Broadcast Technology Society, and Signal Processing Society. Furthermore, he is a member in; IEEE Biometrics Council, IEEE Council on Superconductivity, IEEE Nanotechnology Council, IEEE Sensors Council, and IEEE Systems Council. Moreover, he is member in IEEE Internet of Things Community and IEEE Technology and Engineering Management Technical Community. He is a lecturer in University of Diyala, Iraq (2003 till now). Currently he is Head of Department of Communications Engineering (University of Diyala). He is a reviewer for some international journals. His main research interests are OFDM, CDMA, MC–CDMA, PAPR reduction in Multicarrier system, and general DSP.

Haider Ali Jasim Alshamary received his Master’s degree in electronics engineering from the University of Technology-Iraq in 2007. He worked as lecturer in the college of engineering at the University of Diyala until 2011. He accomplished his Ph.D degree in electrical and computer engineering from the University of Iowa-USA in May 2017. Currently, he is a faculty member in the communication engineering department at the University of Diyala-Iraq where he is also part of Space Navigation and Control (SNC) research lab. His research interests are massive MIMO, channel estimation and data detection of communication systems, signal processing and electronic circuit design. Dr. Salam Nazhan received the BS and MS degrees in physics and electronic physics from Al Mustansiriya University, Baghdad, Iraq, in 1998 and 2005 respectively. He received the PhD degree in Optoelectronics from Northumbria University at Newcastle/ Uk in 2016. He joined the optoelectronics research group at Bangor University, Wales, UK in 2011-2012 and Optical Communications Research Group at Faculty of Engineering and Environment, Northumbria University, Newcastle upon Tyne, UK. His research focuses on optical and electrical characteristic of vertical-cavity surface emitting laser (VCSELs) for free space optical communications. I am a faculty member in the Collage of Engineering / Diyala University (Iraq). I graduated from the Technical University (Iraq) in 1997 with a BSc degree in Mechanical Engineering. I received my Mater degree in Mechanical Engineering – Thermal Energy from the same University in 2002.During my work as a faculty member, I have teached numbers of Mechanical Engineering subjects for undergraduate students including CAD Engineering drawing, thermodynamic and heat transfer. Currently I am a PhD student within the School of Engineering at Glasgow University, studying the thermal interface between the heat engine and heat pump cycle.My areas of interest are refrigeration and heat pump technologies, combined heat and power thermodynamic cycles and recovering wasted heat. |
